Presentation: Exploring SQL Server 2016 Features in Integration Services

The SQL Server 2016 version of Integration Services includes many new features which this session in detail. First, you learn how to use new control flow tasks and data flow components in Integration Services packages. Next, you learn to configure Integration Services and set up packages to use SQL Server high availability and data encryption features and to perform data integration with the Azure platform. Finally, you learn about the new deployment and logging options. At the end of this session, you’ll have a clear understanding of what’s new in Integration Services and how to start using the features that matter most to you!

Presenter: Stacia Varga

Stacia Varga is a Microsoft Data Platform MVP and SSAS Maestro with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences. A consultant, educator, author, and principal of Data Inspirations, her career spans more than 30 years, with a focus on improving business practices through technology. Since 2000, Stacia has provided consulting and education services for Microsoft’s Business Intelligence technologies. As Stacia Misner, she also authored several books covering the Microsoft BI stack.
